LIBRARY

The Tezpur College Library was established along with the establishment of the college in 1965.At the initial stages some philanthropic organizations of Tezpur like the Bagaria Charitable Trust had contributed a lot in the process of growth by donating books and also in terms of financial help. Under the care and guidance of the college authority and the liberal grant of the UGC the college library has grown in to a big source of knowledge not only for the students but also for the teachers of the college as well.

In 2004 the college library was renamed as the Chandra Mohan Medhi Library and study Centre after the name of former Principal Late Chandra Mohan Medhi. With the statuary requirement of a few hundred books collected through donation at the initial stages the library now possesses 23236 books and 1877 numbers of miscellaneous documents. The Chandra Mohan Medhi Library has provision for Reading room, Circulation Room, Stock Room, Technical Room and Audio-Video Section.
